BLS CASA HUB: A game-changer in Moroccan Logistics
Based on a 51,500 m² plot of land, BLS CASA HUB is a state-of-the-art logistics platform with a strategic investment of 300 million dirhams, whose foundation stone was laid in January 2024.
Buildings and Logistic Services (BLS), a Moroccan leader in integrated logistics, proudly announces the inauguration of its brand-new logistics platform, BLS CASA HUB, located southeast of Casablanca in the province of Médiouna, in Sidi Hajjaj. This strategic investment of 300 million dirhams reflects BLS’s ambition to meet the growing demand for modern and sustainable logistics solutions while solidifying its leadership position in Morocco.
Established on a 51,500 m² site with 37,000 m² of ultramodern buildings, BLS CASA HUB is equipped with 55 docks and boasts an impressive storage capacity of 59,000 pallets. The structure features a height of 17.5 meters, a concrete frame with 30-meter spans, and a spacious 45-meter-wide maneuvering area. The platform was designed to meet the highest safety standards, ensuring optimal goods management. It also incorporates innovative technologies and renewable energy solutions, aligning with the growing demands for sustainability.
This project was designed by architect Ali Larhissi and executed in a Build & Suit format by Gidna, led by Zaid Lahbabi, in an 11-month TCE (Turnkey Contract Execution) timeline.
From its inception, the platform is set to create 150 direct jobs and 300 indirect jobs, thereby strengthening the local socio-economic fabric while supporting national growth in the logistics sector.
“This platform symbolizes our vision for modern, sustainable, and competitive logistics. We plan to accelerate our development with new strategic projects and integrate more advanced technologies, such as automation and artificial intelligence. BLS aims to become the preferred logistics partner for local and international companies,” stated Anass Moutaoukil, CEO of BLS.
Additionally, BLS CASA HUB is fully leased to prestigious clients who have outsourced their 3PL logistics operations, including LG (20,000 m²), Lesieur (11,000 pallet positions), and Transmed (10,000 pallet positions). Notably, BLS has also won the 3PL tender for P&G, enabling it to manage an additional 11,000 pallet positions.
With these new contracts, BLS has become the leading 3PL logistics provider nationwide, managing 250,000 pallet positions across 12 cities in the kingdom.
According to Reda Quermane, Deputy CEO of BLS: “BLS CASA HUB is part of a global sustainable development approach aimed at reducing its carbon footprint and adopting several eco-friendly solutions. For instance, the roofs are covered with photovoltaic panels that meet up to 50% of electricity needs. Rainwater is collected, treated, and reused, particularly for watering the extensive green spaces. These initiatives reinforce BLS’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly logistics.”
With this infrastructure, BLS strengthens its role as a Full Logistics Service Provider and aligns with the national strategy for enhancing logistics competitiveness. BLS CASA HUB exemplifies the company’s ambition to continue investing in modern infrastructure to meet the growing needs of key sectors such as distribution, industry, and e-commerce.
