Sanlam Maroc invests 150 million dirhams in Dislog Group

Sanlam Maroc’s investment, amounting to 150 million dirhams, will enable Dislog Group to strengthen its healthcare division and pursue its development strategy through external growth (M&A) in the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. For Sanlam Maroc, this investment aligns with its strategy of supporting and boosting Morocco’s healthcare sector, a field in which the company has been operating and strongly committed for many years, and where Dislog Group is also firmly established.

Indeed, Dislog Group owns several specialized entities, including Megaflex, Kosmopharm, Steripharma, Somapharma, Africare, and Dislog Santé. Its healthcare division is structured around three business units covering the pharmaceutical industry, medical devices, and dermo-cosmetics, thereby forming a complete value chain from drug manufacturing to the distribution of specialized equipment for healthcare institutions.

This expansion is part of a strategic vision focused on a rapidly growing sector in Morocco.

On this occasion, Yahia Chraibi, CEO of Sanlam Maroc, stated:
« Sanlam and Dislog share the same commitment to continuous innovation and service excellence. By investing in such a dynamic and promising local player, we reaffirm our strong willingness to fully support Morocco’s economic fabric, particularly in the healthcare sector, where Sanlam has a historic positioning and expertise that we are keen to further develop. »

Moncef Belkhayat, Chairman and CEO of Dislog Group, added:
« With Sanlam joining Dislog’s capital, our shareholder structure is becoming more institutionalized. As a Moroccan champion in FMCG and healthcare, we aspire to raise our national flag beyond our borders and accelerate our international expansion—an ambition we share extensively with Sanlam. »
